For the Australian Open 2020, the team at Tennis Australia wanted to create a kid’s storybook for players' kids. The aim was to keep them entertained and occupied while their famous parents were battling it out on court.

I created a story about a character called Ace – a ball who was born too bouncy. His big dream was to play a game of tennis, but like a lot of kids, he had trouble finding someone to play with. The story sees him bounce all over Australia until he finally arrives home at the Australian Open. Kids have the option to colour in the book as they go.

For this project, I collaborated with the illustrator Von at Ivy Creative. It was also decided the final published book should go on sale to the public at the AO Shop.
